Beijing based Triple-Major bring their Nomad Store to London tonight, having previously taken up temporary residency in LA, Shanghai and Hong Kong in the past year and a half. Triple-Major was founded by Ritchie Chan and operates a fashion boutique and design studio in the Drum Tower area of Beijing. Timed to coincide with London Fashion Week this pop-up store is conceived in collaboration with Isis Gallery and will serve as a platform for Triple-Major's own collection, as well as new collections from two young Chinese labels Digest Design Workshop and JL.
The Nomad Store will also be bringing examples of new Chinese contemporary art and publishing to an international audience. Artists Charwei Tsai, Qiu Hao and Yida He will be presenting new works, and independent magazine store Bananafish Books from Dalian will host a special bookstore showcasing fanzines and artist books from China.
